Hello, my name is Huan (欢), which means joy and happiness in Chinese—a name that perfectly captures what I strive to bring to everyday life through designs.

My journey into Industrial Design has been unconventional. Born and raised in China, I began my studies in English before moving to the U.S. to explore Political Science. Along the way, I worked in marketing, but it wasn't until I discovered Industrial Design that everything truly clicked.

Looking back, I see how each experience—whether analyzing consumer data, exploring cultural backgrounds, or studying human behavior—has shaped my approach to design. As Steve Jobs said in his Stanford speech, I've learned to "connect the dots." My diverse background allows me to approach problems from unique perspectives, refining my designs to be both functional and emotionally resonant.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, crafting, practicing Chinese calligraphy, and early morning bike rides, all of which help me relax and stay centered.
